When we first moved into this home, the bonus room really seemed small and not something we could use for multiple things like we had wanted. Well, I ended up losing hope for a while and kind of let it become the “catch-all” playroom. (Can you relate? Lol). It had become so unfunctional and messy, that not even my toddler enjoyed going in there. So… I gave it a few months, browsed inspiration pictures online and finally decided to tackle it.

When dreaming up this space, I wanted something of a multi-functional space. It’s not a huge room, but with only having 2 bedrooms and a bonus room upstairs, we needed something that would accommodate three things - a learning center and reading nook for our kids, a guest bedroom for when we have people come visit and a playroom to organize and store the toys we did not want in their bedrooms.

So, I kind of split this space into three different mood boards that I wanted to be cohesive.

Here you are, the hustle and bustle of holidays are over. You start taking down all of your holiday decor, purge the trash and things you no longer need.
